heat
As always, I go and take my b-day weekend off to celebrate getting older and doing less than the year before. This year I have finishing painting my room scheduled for the big day itself and a tour of the pentagon with my sisters and my brother-in-law for Sunday. All of this is planned. I will enjoy it all.
Maybe not the painting as much since the AC is off in the house nad it's 84 degrees at the coolest parts of the house. Last night the outdoors was cooler than the house. Seriously. I walked in from work at 8:15pm and the house was 90 degrees! I know it was 'cause I have the geek clock with a temperature gauge. So fans came out and were turned on and windows were opened. I hope the paint hasn't turned bad in the heat.
I'm also getting another consignment load ready to go in the next couple of weeks.
Finding my garb is also high on list, since that's coming up soon and I want to go at least twice, and I'm even plotting to take a -gasp- Saturday off to go with a coworker who makes her own garb, so I have to make a good/decent showing:)
And getting my room tidier as usual. And my storage unit emptied of useless junk so maybe I can downgrade in size and figure out what I don't need anymore. But that can be done later, like, totally not this weekend:)
