Five things about me
Did this up for another blog, thought I would cross post. Put it behind a cut so as to avoid clobbering everybody's friends pages...
10 YEARS AGO:
1. I was 17, senior year of high school.
2. Except for college applications, senior year was pretty easy.
3. Got into World of Darkness, though the games I ran were more "World of General Murkiness" since I wasn't into the whole andst-y side of Vampire.
4. Tons of time at school playing Magic: The Gathering in the Library before school, after school, and at lunch.
5. Almost every Friday Jesse would come over and we would watch X-Files and then game, or watch a movie, or just hang out all night.
5 YEARS AGO:
1. I had just gotten married.
2. Started my first "real" job, as a web programmer.
3. Got a great, 1-bedroom apartment, with a great commute in San Jose.
4. Learned just how much a great, 1-bedroom apartment with a great commute in San Jose can cost.
5. Just enjoying life outside school as a married couple with a cat, Tigger.
1 YEAR AGO:
1. A different computer job.
2. Recovering from Comic-Con.
3. Lost Tigger to a heart ailment (or something, never got anything conclusive).
4. Excited about Fiddler's Green.
5. Just moved into our first house! No more renting!
YESTERDAY:
1. Spent a day around the house with my wife.
2. Watched Underworld.
3. Read up on the Serenity Roleplaying Game.
4. Went to dinner at our friends' place.
5. Watched Incredibles, had Eggplant Parmesan, and played Munchkin with our friends.
SNACKS I ENJOY:
1. peanuts
2. Twizzlers
3. toast and peanut butter
4. Coca-Cola
5. Snickers

WHAT I WOULD DO WITH 100 MILLION DOLLARS:
1. Buy a beachfront house in San Diego, an apartment overlooking Central Park, and a villa in Italy.
2. Make sure family and friends aren't in a crunch.
3. Travel around the world.
4. Get a master's degree
5. Open a bookstore. Or start a computer company. Or both.
