Wow, I feel like I am the only one, but I really liked Ent last night.

The entire episode, even certain aspects of the ending, was great, IMHO.

Yes, if they are going to do time travel, then WWII is just a wee bit cliche, but I'm willing to put that aside to see where it all goes. Besides, I am not entirely convinced they did just travel back in time; last time I checked, weird blue faced aliens were not part of WWII.

Plus the Borg queen wanna be aliens were messing with both time and space. Couldn't destroying the spheres have messed things up enough to create an alternate reality, especially with the help of our friendly time traveling future guy?

So they should have picked a less overused historical reference, and perhaps time travel itself is cliche, but really it's TV, and it's Ent, everyone should learn not to expect so much :D. It wasn't Raijin and that in of itself is a good thing. The ending definitely surprised me, and it does make me want to watch the beginning of next season, so I'd say it accomplished what it was going for.

Most importantly of all, everyone got screentime, even Porthos :P. In the land of the Big 3, that is impressive enough for me :D. I was so happy to see Hoshi, Travis, and Malcolm all doing things and talking in multiword sentences. If the Ent writers are really overcoming their bad habit of focusing on a few characters to the complete exclusion of all others, then I might be giving Ent another chance. First sign of the Archer/Trip/T'Pol show though, and I am outta there :D.

On the shipper side, there was more A/S in this episode than I ever thought would be cannon. Yeah, a lot of it had to be filtered through my shipper glasses, but I'm okay with that :D. There was even a Tu/S moment! I still have great affection for Trip/Hoshi :). My first fanfiction story was Tu/S. *sniff*

Anyway, I have cautiously decided to give Ent another chance next season :).
