This night is filled with yawns and blah. Notre Dame is even playing like crap! But yeah, boring night. Sometimes I feel like some kind of weird loser just sitting around my apartment so much. But I suppose it happens when you don't know anyone

1. Jason Mraz's first album. Yeah, you guys have rolled your eyes and made puking noises anytime I've fessed up to this so- let the puking commence. 3. 2. 1. Ok, then. Anyway, I think it's all about the time I heard it, you know? It's not so much the album that's important- but the memory of the time I heard it. I was wandering around Target when I was in Edwardsville and I was feeling fairly depressed. There was a guy I liked who treated me like crap, a psychotic bestfriend and all my other friends were off doing things together without me. On top of that, I didn't know what I was doing with my life and all that lame crap. It ws one of those 'hopeless feeling' days. I was rounding the corner with the thought in my head "Why am I worrying about this? This is a waste of time" (I remember that clearly) when I heard a guy with a good voice singing "I won't worry my life away". o_O It was poppy, the rest of the lyrics were stupid, and the guy on the video screen looking like a total frat boy- but I was still ecstatic that someone had just sung the sentiment that I was feelng. So I bought it. And I hated it. But it was the only cd I had in the car so I listened to it until I liked it. And there it is. I like the first album because of repetitive usage.
2. Roxette. It's always weirded me out that more people don't remember this Swedish pop band from the 80s. They had a lot of hits: "Joyride", "She's got the look", "It must have been love", "Fading like a flower", "Dangerous" and any number of other really cheesy, 80s bubble-gummy pop songs. They were one of the first bands whose album (on cassette!) I decided to try to buy when I was like 10. I own all their albums and on ocassion when the mood strikes (which is fairly often, actually) I listen to them.
3. Really shitty, Japanese techno remix songs! HA! They're so BAD. But I'll sing along (incorrectly making up words to fill in the spots I don't know the real words to) at the top of my lungs and bang my head about to them anytime they play on my iPod playlist. Oh, man, and that Hikaru Utada song from Kingdom Hearts? Simple and Clean in English and Hikari in the Japanese version- oh, yeah. It's on. Totally cruising around singing that shitty song. ^_^
