I am going to the Red Sox Opening Day!!
A friend won the lottery for the opportunity to purchase opening day/yankees tickets. She was not going to be home today to try, so she gave me her information. I figured what the hell. I sat online for 9 hours before trying to get tickets, why not try this. I got the computers ready at 10 of Noon and started my virtual waiting room ritual. At a little past 12:30 one of my sessions changed to Welcome to Boston Red Sox. I couldn't believe it. I logged in and immediately tried for Opening Day tickets. I put in for 4 and actually went through the entering a number robot. I actually got 4 tickets. They are in the left field corner, next to the Green Monster. I can't believe that I got them. I called my friend and told her. She told me that I got them so they were mine. Since she won the chance lottery for me to actually buy the tickets we should split them. Hopefully things will work out. I don't want to get too excited until I actually have the tickets in hand. I can't believe that I might actually see the Sox get their World Series rings in person!!!
