The search is over...
Well its official...I'm rooming with Brandie. I'm pretty comfortable with this decision. Just normal apprehension about the unknown.(Don't worry, Brandie. This is very normal for me and I'm not backing out of it). It will be different that's for sure. Not bad. Just different. I'm going to miss my Carrie though. Ok. Enough sappyness or Brandie's going to think I'm living with her because I'm destitute (which is not it at all).
Moving along slightly...
I got my room draw number Wed. night...19 Wahoo!! which means that I'm in the first group that gets to pick rooms and since I plan on being there fairly early there is at least 50-75% chance I'll get to live on the 5th floor which for my non campus readers means NO SUITEMATES!! The last two years I've had great suitemates but with them not letting suitemates pick rooms together I'd be left to the mercy of Chris Holland for suitemates and I really don't want to take my chances. So Thursday morning bright and early I'll be up hopefully going to secure for me and Brandie a front facing 5th floor apartment! Keep your fingers crossed.
This week has been interesting. I recovered from my two hours of sleeping Monday night just so I can do it all again next week. Isn't procrastination the best? PBL State Competition was this week and i just found out that I got FIRST!!!! Which means that I qualify to go to Nashville for Nationals this summer. I'm excited!! I'll have to see how the money and a summer job fall to see if I can go but I REALLY hope I can work it out. Well I need to go get packed and such for this weekend. I'm headed to my grandmother's to help her with the Heart Affair. Hope everyone has a wonderful safe weekend. Much Loves
