I ran the Race for the Cure today. It was fantastic, minus the getting there really early in the morning part. I ran it with Lindsey and Caroline, two girls from the MSE department with me. We ran it in a little over 30 minuets, which is pretty good considering we were in the middle of the pack and had to walk the first quarter mile. I wasn't even that tired when we finished. I'm pretty proud of how well I ran it.
Afterwards, the three of us went to breakfast, where we met up with Caroline's cop boyfriend Austin who had just gotten off his late night shift. He was in full uniform. It was amusing to be walking around Baltimore with a cop. After breakfast, we went and got pasteries and Austin showed up the "Cop Shop" which is really cool. I don't understand guns. There was a big gun for only $300, and a little gun was $800. I thought bigger meant more money. And they all looked fake, like toys. I've never seen a real gun before.
Now to study for the two midterms I have coming up.
