I just wanted to announce to the world that I am NOT failing out of graduate school, at least not yet, and that this makes me very happy. I just got back my first exam, from the class with Todd, my advisor. The exam was out of 40 points, the average was 28, and I got a 30. And you know what pisses me off? That I made the world's STUPIDEST mistake that cost me 3 points. BUT that in the end, he said a little above the average (which is me) is a B+. And I've always been a B+ student, why should that change now? I'm happy with it, and while I think the knowledge I have equals an A, for the problems that were asked, I'm glad to take a B+. In addition, grad school grades on the plus minus scale, so it's not like CMU where I'll be knocked down to a B. It's a SOLID B+. YEAH!!!!!! Now Todd know's I'm not as big an idiot as I portray myself to be!
