it must be my curse to post only every 7 days.
of course all that is going to change (hopefully), now that i have a new-ish job! i'm working for the same show, just in the office now. my new friend, greta, is leaving to go to boston at the end of the month, and they asked me if i wanted her position. and i said yes. that means no more crazy hours or heavy lifting. and alas no more being on t.v. but! good news. i may be in teh opening credits of the dog whisperer, if the network approves.
remember all that kristen bell news i was talking about? well, i was trying desperately hard to get kristen on the dog whisperer and help her with mr. shakes. i was talking with her agent's assistant and everything. but alas, her schedule is too full. that's where you come in,
spectralbovine. talk with michael (who occasionally carpools with kristen) and have him plant a bug in her ear.
i also tried to get orlando bloom on the show. however, he is unable to be on camera because he is out of the country until the end of the year.
i also saw the movie prime. it was great. except the end was a little, "how do we end this?" but it was still good. and hilarious. it's about a 37 year old dating a 23 year old who is the son of the 37 year old's psychiatrist. it got me thinking about the allure of the older woman. it is kind of hot. if we are talking uma thurman/eva longoria older women. yeah, that's hot.
i also went to a halloween party with my friend greta. my roommate, her boyfriend, and her roommates and friends came. it was good fun. she was an 80's prom queen. i was a target employee.
greta and i (the glory of the 80s and can i help you?)
the guys and i (is this an open mouth picture?)
i ran the dog auditions this past weekend, too. while there, one of the producers gave me like 300 hundred books she was getting rid of. i only wanted like 5 of them. but it got me thinking how many books i am reading right now. too many.
wicked by gregory maguire
self-help by lorrie moore
nicholas by goscinny & sempe
the penultimate peril by lemony snicket
the grimmerie by wicked broadway
the curious incident of the dog in the night-time by mark haddon
i'm nuts.
i will be going home to illinois from dec. 14th-jan. 5th. that will be fun. and i will be seeing wicked (for the fourth time) in chicago on the 29th. i hope ana gasteyer is there. our seats are way, way up, but that's okay.
also, look at the
brotherhood i joined.
