Well I had an excellent time this weekend celebrating my birthday at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Saturday) and Hurricane Harbor (Sunday). We also visited the 7-Eleven-turned-Kwik-E-Mart in Los Angeles just because I'm that much of a nerd. It was my first time going to the theme parks and I had a lot of fun aside from a few let-downs like hurting a muscle in my hip and getting dehydrated and little annoying things like that. Everybody else had a great time too. So hooray for being 22 years old!
I guess this also shows off my new short hair.

Lines, lines, so many lines.
With Batman!

Proudly overlooking the Log Jammer ride. Not captured on film: us running around in our capes Freakazoid style.
This has just been an amazing summer and I wish it wasn't ending. I dread the return of school and work and all of that "normality," so I'm going to be enjoying these last couple of weeks as much as I can and at least I know I'll always look back at this summer as a happy one.
I also feel like I've matured more this summer. I've got some plans for my future now, as far as where I want to go after graduation and some ideas of things I want to do with myself when I'm out in the real world. Heading over to Colorado just sounds better and better every day. And then there's the fun plans, like Dustin and I are plotting to go to Ireland for a week long vacation in another year or so, which is very exciting. It's nice to have these goals to work towards, to know I have things to keep me moving forward and to invest in them the confidence that they will happen.
