Agh, what a horrible thing to witness, the poor dog! Did the man take it to a vet at least, if it was still alive?!

Yeah, it wasn't pleasant, hon, but it probably looked and felt worse than it was, because when the man did back off, the dog jumped up and ran in the direction of a near-by house, which I'm guessing is where his owners live and hopefully they took him to the vet and he's fine now. At any rate, if that man wouldn't have taken him to the vet, I would tell him he should and if nothing helped, I know I would have taken him. *hugs* Hope your day is better, love.

But I have to say, did you know it's 49 yeas exactly today since Eichman's trial? They're interviewing the Israeli policeman who was in charge of interrogating him here and as it turns out, he's a Holocaust survivor who was beaten by Eichman when he was a kid back then. Give your kitty his medication. What's wrong with him? I hope that they will both be ok. You're in Jerusalem now, right? What vet do you go to? I strongly reccomend צער בעלי חיים. They moved to Talpiot a few years back, they're like behind the mall I believe. Our vet isn't there anymore, she left shortly before Harry and I moved, but ask for Sheli (He's a he, not sure how he got that name). He's a good vet. Michal was awesome, too bad that she's not there anymore. There's another good one but I forget her name. Don't go for Eldad, he's evil. Harry was sick a lot when he was a baby and we went all the time and always to Michal. Luckily he and Benny are happy, healthy boys now :) Turning 4 and 3 respectively.

In a short while I need to go back and give him the second half. *sigh* It's no biggie, it's just that I'm not feeling that well after the little trip to the vet and back, so I'm a bit drained, that's all. I can go into the details of what Bagir caught (and passed to Sheleg), but I suspect it would be TMI. ;) Thanks for the tip. I take Sheleg to a vet who specializes in exotic animals (which apparently Sheleg is), but thank you for the tip. I will take Bagir to צער בעלי חיים and look for Sheli (probably a diminutive, like Mendi is for Mendel) when I have to take Bagir to the vet... *hugs
