An almost post

Okay, so I'm back from this Passover vacation I had to take with my family. I say "had to" because it included me, my sis, my dad, my dad's girlfriend, my dad's girlfriend's parents, my dad's girlfriend's son and my dad's girlfriend's son's high school friends. Does that sound like fun to you? Well, I have to mention that I officially don't like my dad's girlfriend. She's just not a kind person. I've never seen her expressing compassion towards anyone. Quite the opposite.

So that explains why I'm really, really happy to be back, other than the usual reasons.

And today I had to take my rabbit, Sheleg, to the vet. It's been exhausting, the walk there in the heat (yes, it's been summer here for two months now or so). Now I have to keep an eye on him, see if he's okay. On the way back I saw a dog get hit by a car. He was actually trapped under the car's front wheels and howling with pain. I was too, I didn't even notice, I was calling out to the driver to get off the dog, but there you go, over-identification issues.

And tomorrow's Holocaust Memorial Day. I don't know how things connect, they seem very disjointed when you look at them individually, but somehow I feel like they do connect. Something about the kindness of people. Their possibility of identifying with someone or something that's different from them. Something along those lines, I've no doubt, I'm just too exhausted to be able to put it into words which express a logical, coherent idea. Mind doing it for me while I hug the breath outta you?

*HUGS*
