Bloody Mary? Names have reasons? No, I never knew why she was called Bloody Mary...but if she doesn't haunt bathrooms, then why do we need a ritual to call her up?

Well Bloody Mary is a folklore Uchi. And it is often believed to be the spirit of a mother (often a widow) who murdered her children, or a young mother whose baby was stolen from her, which made her go mad in grief and she eventually committed suicide. But it's also believed that Bloody Mary could be Queen Mary the I who was also known as Bloody Mary. Some say that she had several miscarriages and that had driven her mad but I think the nickname came with how she killed her enemies.

Anyways how many times did you say Bloody Mary? Did you look in the mirror? You're supposed to look in the mirror, with all the lights off and say Bloody Mary three times. But trust me nothing happens.

I think it's a folklore that mothers made up to scare their children into behaving or that some bored person made up to entertain his or her guests.

It's not real Uchi! I've tried it before. All it does is freaks you out and have you worrying about some crazy person coming after you! ^_^
