Those who are close to me know that I've been annoyed by those who are too rude to ask/tell me for permission at using my translation/dictation.
Even though with a credit, once they are in the same community, why do they not just ask/tell the original worker with a respect??!?!?!?!?!
Anyway, as something much more dangerous happened, I'm now posting this post in public.
It's a violation of my copyright.
Translation must he half-creative unless people put the original sentence into the automatic translation software(I don't know if it should be creative, but it should be at least less-creative).
You know I translated Tegomass's Aiai-gasa
HERE.
And, someone suddenly posted
a subbed PV on
news_jpop.
She said she used my translation.
As she didn't ask me, I was going to tell her that I wanted her to tell me before.
But, I've just downloaded it and watched - there was a completely different 'translation' by anyone, but there was a credit of my user name.
I was like, HAAAAAAAA?!?!?!?! DDDDD8
For the sake of myself, I now claim that
THE TRANSLATION USED ON THIS IS NOT MINE.
(I guess, she just read my translation and completely rewrote it into her words, since she thought that my non-native English is crappy. It's a violation of my work. Really. As some of you know, I HATE to call it as 'love-love umbrella'.)
I translate every article/lyrics with my pride.
Even at the more creative translation(lyrics), I try to express the unwritten atmosphere and meaning into my work.
And, sometimes I print my translation and put it into an envelope when I send my fan letter to my favorite Johnny's boys!!
Even I've once sent my translation to the lyricist zopp when I had a chance to give him a gift!!!
I'm upset.
Now I am really upset.
If I were enough crazy, I must have posted this entry to
news_jpop, but as most of the people will think of me as a crazy Japanese, I cannot do that. :PPP
From seeing people's current rudeness, I have to recognize it as a sign that they need not my help. They must not want to read a translation with a knowledge of native Japanese. Geez.
