So I'm back...and in the lab. Yeah, I'm so sick of this job. I know, I know, it's a great job, but it's really irritating to sit in a chair for over six hours. Really! I'm serious. I would rather do something to get the blood moving that pays. So I told my boss I'd be moving soon and that he should start looking for someone else, so he's doing that.
Had a good time in Boynton Beach with William...hung out with Gracie a lot, went and saw Grandma (eek!) who apparently is letting her real feelings about non-white people show their ass a bit more. Yeah... Saw Darryl and Emily :) Didn't get to see Kat; if I were her I'd frankly be pissed at me for not calling, but there's only so much one can do in four or five days and maintain a feeling of sanity for the loved one you are taking on a "vacation". I know that I'm fine with GOGOGO mentality, but most people aren't, especially when it's supposed to be a vacation with a loved one. Sooo, had some good times.
Intro to tech 2 started today...looks...exciting. Well I at least was happy that there are people I know in there, Grayson, Jeff, Kristin, Lizzie... It's funny nearly half the class is dance and the other half theatre, so when we split up the mondays and wednesdays for lighting tech lab, for the most part the theatre people are doing mondays and the dance are doing wednesdays. Talk about segregation! HA!
Um.Yeah. I know that is incredibly exciting.
So....let's talk about....weddings for a minute. Providing any of you have gotten this far in the post, would any of you have ideas on what non-christians should do for a wedding? William seems more about something traditional, something that "has the weight of the centuries behind it", I would just feel like an asshole if I have a Christian wedding. I mean, Catholism is beautiful and all, but just because their ritual is pretty doesn't mean I can abide it in a personal "ritual" of my own. I know if it was just me designing this thing, I would want to come up with some off the wall self written and performed in the wild of nature thing, or something...but it needs to satisfy both requirements. Any ideas?
HAHAHAHAH You must all think I'm pretty funny, but I'm serious. Serious. Say what you will.
Mmmm. I prepared some crab rangoons that I can fry up directly after here, and feed to my...William tonight. :) Gotta please the love.
