Snow day tomorrow
Looks like 4-7 inches of accumulation and the schools will be closed. Trix1e is still off LARPing (we decided she should come home through the snow *after* she's rested). I'm going to work from home, but with NASA on liberal leave due to the weather, I doubt it will be busy tomorrow.
In other news, I am primed for a job offer in Nashville. They contacted me, and while I have indicated that it will take a crowbar and buckets of money to dislodge me from NASA, they sound pretty positive (a friend and former coworker has recommended me highly to the boss). Plans for a face-to-face are on hold at the moment.
I have been around long enough to know that you never pass up an opportunity (at least to hear about one), and while I *love* my job, if this is a big enough pay increase, I could love working elsewhere. It's a very liberal place to work, there is a larger city closer by (which means more people with similar interests, a better chance for a job for Trix1e, and other less tangible benefits). It's also possible I could work from home right here in Huntsville, though I would certainly look for a new house there.
Change is growth, so I will listen to any offer they make. And as important as I am to my current job, there would probably be a counter offer - and I've got a review pending, so...
