"IRON MAN" KICKS ASS!!!!
But then I've known that since I was about eight years old. Iron Man has always been my favorite comic book superhero.
And I've always enjoyed Robert Downey Jr. When I knew he was going to be playing Tony Stark it was the most obvious choice in my mind that I simply acknowledged it and moved on. *smile*
But that meant that there was an awful long way to fall if they failed to live up to my expectations. Fortunately they didn't do that.
I only have three complaints:
1 - Not enough suit time.
2 - To much Pepper, not enough Rhodes.
3 - Not enough SUIT TIME!
And, yes it's clear there will be sequels. I could see that even without the Easter Egg at the end of the credits (and while I appreciate the people who sent me "heads up" messages to stay, they were not really needed. I always stay through the credits. *smile*). But then I certainly didn't have a problem with the Easter Egg either.
I look forward to sequels.
