Why my Friday sucked ass
Ok, so from the start, I figured, "hey, today is supposed to be a good day. no class, possible plans for the evening, and at least I'll be busy today at work."
Things kinda went downhill from there though. My alarm went off late and I got to work at 8 instead of 7:30. About 40 minutes into a huge report I had to finish, our entire server crashes, and I don't mean just froze, the server itself overheated and blew up. That meant no access to the network, which happened to have everything I needed on it. So, 2:45 rolls around and I'm trying to find something to do and management sends me home
I wouldn't mind if, oh, they absolved me from having to have my 40 hours, since I'm not fully salary yet, but no, I have to come in for a full day on Saturday to make up for it, even IF the server is still down.
I'm really not sure what to do
So, I spend the rest of the day cleaning and getting ready for the possibility of heading out, but Sammi couldn't go cause they were going to Lake Wylie. No biggie I figured, so I called Matt and Kristi and we hung out.
We spent 2 hours trying to fix a busted DDR hard pad that just wouldn't give, and while playing I managed to re-break my left foot. Huzzah.
Now, I'm extremely exhausted, and I want to record, but I don' think I have the energy for it. Tommorrow is going to be a long day, but I'll make it through it.
It's just one of those days that makes you wonder if God just likes throwing rocks at you or something. Either way, I'm going to bed. Peace out everyone.
