I got beat up a lot at crew today. I have bruises and sore muscles all over from random boat accidents, including when a boat rack punched me in the lungs. Fun times.
But it's okay. Because for an hour today at lunch, I was the happiest kid you'll ever know. And it can only get warmer from here, which is perhaps the most pleasant thought that's ever passed through my mind.
