Beowulf
I rate this movie a 2 out of 5 being a good movie
-this movie was simply put as shriek meats 300. Not only was it noticeably digitally enhanced all and I mean all battle scenes were done digitally. I know simply put they could have passed it off as digital and reality but defiantly it is ridiculous
-to simply tell the story Beowulf is hired to stop grindel at any means possible. he does it in a ridiculous manner and easily then goes to kill grindel's mother of course he falls in love with her and as her revenge for killing her son she sends a dragon to kill defeat his glorious reign .
Highlander: The Source
I rate this a -1 out of 5
-I feel this movie truly insults the Highlander collection. for one the villain is defiantly wearing a dress with pants and I mean noticeably second they butcher queen with one scene of the villain saying line from one song and the other playing a poorly made version of princes of the universe done to heavy metal. and yes they even have mccloud in it wearing an outfit of a reject rocker of the 80's and the sword fighting jus seems to be wild movements done to animated speed ups of the characters fighting with extra blurs. and don’t forget they seem to have an organization of the ones around there world witch seems to make little since being that there is only one as it ended. And don’t forget mcclouds girl still is alive in this one and seems also to be immortal being that the story is supposedly in the future slightly.
-basically immortals need to get to source to become mortal again without killing more. Many seem to die in the process by villain who jus seems to be faster than a bullet witch makes little since.
Rain in the Mountains
I rate this 4 out of 5
A Native American man raised in the city but born on the reservations is told by a dead man who appears to be hung in a tree tells him that his destiny is to bring his people back to the old ways. But of course being he no longer knows of the old ways but what he has heard of he attempts to bring his family to the old ways. This movie is hilarious being that he does not seem to know what he is doing. For a small film this movie was well done and hilarious.

Legend of the Black Scorpion
I give this movie a rating of 3 out of 5
Simply put it’s a story of uncle kills father. Uncle attempts to assassinate prince, prince meets girl but can’t have her. Prince comes out of hiding an uncle tries killing him again. Prince gets girl.
Yeah that’s a sloppy synopsis but don’t want to give much away in the story. But this is a movie I recommend watching for how well done it is.
Justice League: The New Frontier

This is a well done animated film dc is working on a lot of well made movies based on there comics. This is another.
-basically take the original justice society and that’s what we have here and it is well done. This one is based as it should be with the quote of new frontier from Kennedy " we stand today on the edge of a new frontier,”
A story of the world during the cold war era that has a super being that grey from within the world and got to the point it believed humans were a threat to the world.
-this was such good movie I decided to buy it.
The Darjeeling Limited

I feel insulted to have watched this movie
-this movie had no story at all the possibility way that it seemed that they went out to India to get there mother before heading off to there father's funeral. Of course they go to her but she is helping in some small village being she is a nun. They never reach the funeral and seems. This movie seems to never follow a story except they fell apart as brothers and were trying to get back together that relation as a family. This movie is only run by the imagery and that is it. Or at least appears to be it
American Gangster

It is a great movie very well done jus a little long. When it picks up in action you are literally sitting not eh edge of your seat with how good it is.
- Basically follows the mob drug wars and is based on a true story.
Becoming Jane

This story is to follow the life of Jane Austin but is truly slow I fell asleep 3 times in this movie and still followed it. Yes I eventually finished the movie all the way through. the only problem is that not only is it boring but she does not even get a guy she is interested in. and sadly it seems to end that way or at least to me it appears so.
I Could Never Be Your Woman

This movie was very entertaining and a good chick flick. Yes I said it chick flick it’s not your conventional chick flick though. A story done in the classic style of movies with the main character being followed by Mother Nature telling her that life isn’t what she ants it to be but rather she can make it work for her.

This movie is odd basically his illustrator for his children’s book passes away the company for his book says he must finish one more book. So they higher an illustrator for him. Oddly enough he gets mad at her after starting to fall in love with her but he loses her in a horrible way that most women don’t let a grudge like what she probably had go. Then he tries to get her back after she goes back to her ex. but somehow gets her back but none of it makes since. The movie over all is pretty good kind of dark and with some weird jokes
This movie is a good example of the writers strike going on.
Across the Universe

This was good enough I bought it.
The story is a musical done to the music of Beatles. The period of the movie is the 60s during the Vietnam protests. The main character Jude coming to the us to at least see his father who knows nothing of him after stays in the us for a time and his adventure goes on finding a girl from unique places. This story is wonderfully done and superbly sung. This is a movie I record to at least to watch and make up your own choice but as I stand it is a wonderful movie.
The Jane Austen Book Club

a bunch of women get together to create a book club because of troubles in there lives one meets a guy and invites him to join though he doesn’t know anything of the books or Jane Austin he is egger to learn and learn new things. This movie is very cute and funny I do not want to give away much because of how good it is.

Not only does he not get the girl he falls for her and apparently I guess the writers thought to try and make it funnier by adding sexual references into it as if to make it lighter as a comedy. The Invasion

This movie was well done but kind of creepy if you are a religious person being that what the invader creatures are doing is the equivalent to Lucifer’s plan. For all of you who do not understand basically the invaders come down withal crashed space shuttle as a spore like creature and are transferred from one to another through physical contact.
The story goes as the ship crashed its reads across the us but in foreign countries they are attempting to stop it wile in the US we are still doing what we always do jus calling it an epidemic and letting it be considered nothing but a flue. Witch basically allows it to spread easily... of course some people is immune but the main character is not one of them.
The King of California

This movie was pretty good but seemed to be missing something. It’s a well done movie of daughter and father getting to know each other through strange experiences. The father decided to find gold in CA as he has maps and clues form old Spanish journals. They discover it being buried under a Costco and that’s when it gets interesting.
This story is funny and serious at times.

this movie is just a movie of a guy trying to get into a law firm has his potential boss give him an odd job moving his wild and clayish daughter across the nation to CA of course everything goes wrong and he is the nerd of nerds. I guess sit as story of opposites bit it doesn’t do that much justice to the story certain parts are funny that’s y it’s not all the way low rating but over not that great of a movie
