Talked to a friend last night and he was all "I should just kill myself, my life is horrible." So I asked what was so horrible about it. He gave this sob story about his parents being pricks and his life being meaningless and says it all in this drone sad tone. I responded with a dripping sarcastic "Boo fucking hoo! Oh my God! You're a Batman villian!" And then proceeded to give him a long angry lecture on what a stupid fucking dumbass he was. Concluding with something along the lines of
"You are 21 years old, grow the hell up. You're not a teenager anymore so stop acting like it. Stop acting like that whiny angsty goth wannabe who waxes poetic about his shitty life. It's not all that bad and you have alot going for you. Fuck you if you're too stupid to see it"
My wording might be off since I was ranting and not paying much attention to what exactly I said. That's close though. After I'd finished the line got quiet so I figured he'd hung up. Nope.
Me: Hello?
Him: Thanks. I needed that.
Me: Anytime.
