Moment of Zen: Coping with Recession

Jan 29, 2010 10:03

We went to Olive Garden for my birthday and the many years I went there for birthdays, they give you a FREE dessert with the side of singing waitors and everyones eyes on you.

Usually, it's a molten cake ganachè. Well, my friends and family told the guy it was my birthday and at the end of the meal, they came out with a herd of waitors, everyones eyes cast upon you and this:

Funny, right? I love Andes mints! To be honest, I was happy they came out with a plate full mints then a real dessert. I was incredibly full, like I wanted give birth, and eating a dessert that I'll eventually give away wasn't a good idea.

My mom blames the economy, because Olive Garden didn't want to give a FREE $6.99 dessert (but in reality, she probably wanted the dessert for herself).

Haha, happy birthday to me!
