Soul Eater Chapter 69 (hehee) Review: I'll Have the Grilled Frog with a side of Jiggly Blair Pudding
Okay, another month went by and it's time for another review. Since I am not busy with work, I decided to do this now before my life resumes on its busy routine.
Anyway, let's start, shall we?
Justin got Medusa by the neck and it was obvious that Medusa wasn't going to die off just like that. What? I'm serious. There was no way that Medusa was going to die like that. And if she did, I would of been disappointed, because I would want one out of the six meisters to kill her off and use her soul to make their weapon into Death Scythe.
Moving on! And I was right. She didn't die and therefore, my theory was not scratched off the list! So the fight continues as Justin/clown combo swings and slices as Medusa dodges and screws (you guys are dirty!) with her pokemon by her side (pokemon reference from nenena 's Soul Eater Chapter 69 recap/review).
Then, Justin pulls a Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique from Naruto). Okay, then it turned into a side silhouette of Medusa. Hm, I wonder who could that be?
Next we cut to Crona and witches vs Black Star, where Eruka was telling them to stop fighting and retreat for now. She also announced to the world that she was going to throw her tadpole bombs to cover their escape. At this point, I already knew what was going to happen. Eruka throws, everybody runs for it, she doesn't make her escape and finally gets beaten up by Black Star.
As Eruka stands there, an evil 'Patti-killing manhood' face appears from the smoke. It's Black Star, pissed at the bomb she threw at his face. Instantly, Eruka transformed into a frog and makes a run for it, but Black Star pounced, like my dog when she is hunting for grasshoppers in the tall grass, and caught the little frog.
"Does grilled frog taste anything like Chicken?" He drools as Eruka begs for her life. There! Black Star is gonna kill this witch, make Tsubaki a Death Scythe. How easy was that?
Haha, I don't think that's gonna happen. If anything, he'll bring her back to Shibusen for interrogation. Or maybe he was serious about eating her (again, you guys are gross).
Now back to Medusa and the Kage Bunshin Justins. And it turned out that one of the Justins is Furry Death Scythe. I really don't want to go into detail with their conversation, so I'm going to skip that part to the very end of it. Medusa got fed up with all this comical drama and just walks away. Just like that. Justin disappears too, using a page from Noah's book. And Tesca had stated he imprinted Justin's soul. Could be a possible save Kid from the collector and his fanboy.
Soul is back and this time he's with another woman! Kidding, the girl wanted Soul to be her partner one day and runs off. Then, at his locker, he opened it up and a bunch of letters came pouring down. He doesn't seem too happy with it.
Maka comes to scene, impressed with the amount of letters he received. Also, stating that Soul received many partner request letters in the past, but nothing compared to what he is getting now. Of course, those numbers increased, because he became a Death Scythe, not because of being Soul.
As they were leaving, a girl with the same jealous type eyes as Gopher, peered around the corner, glaring at the two. "Maka-senpai and Soul-senpai (try saying that, sounds weird) are incompatible with each other."
Oh jeez.
Anyway, Blair is back, which Soul and Maka are surprised to see with the two other Chupa Witches, Lisa and Arisa. This was after Soul stated that the reason Maka hasn't recieve any partner request letters was because she has no sex appeal whatsoever. And Maka wonders why guys like boobs and asses that jiggle like pudding.
Okay, this last part is back to Kid. And this was the cherry to top off my pudding of a chapter. Gopher continues to beat up Kid, driving the fangirls crazy. Beaten and tied up still? Take off his shirt and the girls are going to die from cardiac arrest. Or show them the last page of this chapter, that'll make them want to die. That last page was the cherry.
Kiddo noticed that one side of Gopher's jealous expression is longer than the other. He shouts, "Someone Save Me!" Because of the unsymmetrical face before him.
haha, Kiddo can take a sexy beating from Waffles, but can't stand that.
I love Kiddo.
But, not as much as Black Star.
Well, Kiddo and Soul, I can sex them up, but Black Star is one of those guys you wanna be friends with.
My thoughts? Well, I don't have much to say about this chapter. I loved the Black Star, Kiddo and Soul parts. Plus, seeing Blair again after being gone for like almost three years from the story line was refreshing. Especially it's chapter 69.
On forums, people are talking about the girl stalking Soul and Maka and the results to the Medusa vs Justin fight. But, what really caught my attention were the witches.
The last time we saw Lisa, Arisa and Blair was before Lisa and Arisa were arrested by Sid and Spirit. Why are they there? Does Shinigami-sama have a plan regarding those two? Shibusen has two witches. Kim, Angela and now those two have joined the Shibusen Witch bandwagon? Blair isn't really a witch, but I'm going to add her on the list.
I have this feeling the witches are going to play a huge role in an upcoming arc.
