on the road again...
thanks to Leather family & friends we packed the UPack trailer in 4 hours, and kept to the 14 feet we had agreed to!
We drove over 900 miles on Thursday, leaving at 5:30am and finally ending up in goodland KS around 6pm their time. This morning we drove to Boulder and spent the morning exploring the ONLY mall I like - Pearl Street Mall. Then up to Estes park & we are now staying at a great B& B in Drake, CO. Tomorrow morning we head through Rocky Mtn Natl Park.

The beginning of this week was a comedy of errors. first the jeep tires, (nitrofill), suddenly lost 10 pounds of pressure due to the change in temp from 95 to 65. Off to the dealer for a fix... then Monday...for the first time in my life, i dropped my laptop...and cracked the display. Sigh... now I am unable to use it unless I can use HDMI to hook to a tv or a monitor...of course I sold 2 monitors in our moving sale... Its hard being without a pc... I use tami's netbook, (like now), for checking mail once a day and my crackberry for misc updates... but Im pretty toast once we get to PHX... oh well...
My fibro is sucking ass after 3 months with hardly any days of rest and then lifting way too much Mon-Wed... Sometimes I struggle with feeling worthless, while deep down I KNOW thats not real, this morning it was hard to hold back the tears. This was supposed to be relaxing, connecting time for tami & I, & for the first few hours of the day I was grumbly & in so much pain it was hard to drive... but talking about it and as it was happening knowing full well I was just being too damn hard on myself, got me out of the mood. The pain has lessened some and I hope that continues.
So...thats my update...
missing some people already...looking forward to seeing others... and so begins a new chapter... my brain is incapable of coherent thought so time to get my damn slave horizontal!
