I've been very confused lately. Questions have been perplexing my mind more and more frequently. Ever feel like you are on the verge of understanding something? I've been feeling like that... something.... I don't know what, but I've been thinking about whatever comes to mind and trying to figure it all out. It just seems like I'm close to something... some idea.. some concept... i dont know... its hard because I don't know what i'm looking for. i imagine, though, that whatever it is will enlighten me somehow. that would be most to my likeing. if none of this makes any sense, well, i wouldn't expect it to make sense is all i'm saying.
Why do we search for happiness? If we are happy searching, then we have already found happiness. If we are unhappy searching, then the only thing left to do is to stop looking for happiness and it will be upon us. Why does fire go out in water? It is because fire is only burning air, and air cannot exist in the same area as water. Is a table with no legs still a table? Or is it only part of a table? The legs without the table top are only legs, and not a table. But a table top on the floor is still a table. If we take the lead out of a pencil, is it not still a pencil, as the only part we need to write is the lead? The rest is only a tool to make the writing easier, but is the pencil the whole of its parts, or is it only the functioning part?
What is Why? How do we define why? Do we define it by the answer that it brings us, or do we define it by its function as a word to bring the nature of the question into better understanding? Why do we ask why? we seek an answer. We seek the truth. Why always will bring us to the truth, because why always has an answer. Although the answer may not be known, it is always present. Perhaps there is not always a what or a how, but there is always a why. But what is why? is it a concept of what we are looking for? is it just a word? it is part of language and part of communication, why is important because it express our most earnest desire, that is to seek the truth in every situation. Why always has an answer.
Why is What. Is it? Why is what... what? Is what equal to the truth. why is the truth. why isn't the truth, why is the search for the truth. what is why. why is what. where is the answer in that....
Like I said I do not know what i'm searching for. there is too much unknown to me. i'm looking for an answer but for now i'm just groping in the dark...
