I've been playing around with an open-source web-based operating system called EyeOS - it's still in testing stages but is looking pretty neat! I must remember to go back later and do some more playing around.

LJ autosaves drafts now. THERE IS GOD. Probably the thing that annoyed me most about lj was losing my half-done, huge entries, and having to try and make it the same again. And it wasn't even a problem with lj, it was a problem with me and co-ordination. Software is best when it doesn't just have its own bugs fixed, it fixes yours as well ( Read more... )
