I potted some tomatoes in a bucket painted red; I do like red buckets. Or rather, old tin buckets are very pleasing when they are red (and especially full of tomatoes). Growing things is so satisfying. (Like pets, and children, and painting, I suppose.)
I actually slept best at 6am: a perfect 25 minutes, fell asleep very quickly and woke up feeling like I'd slept for hours. I even dreamed a little, I don't know whether that means I was sleeping properly or not. However, between 2am and 6am I still keep dozing off, if only for ten and fifteen minutes at a time. Perhaps if I find this too hard to adapt to, I can combine napping with a whole 2 hours at 3am or so, to catch up? That would probably mess up my brain though, trying to adapt to two different sleep cycles at once...
I threw a ball of paper and it arced perfectly to rebound off the corner of the bin and fall in with a conclusive thud; today is going to be a good day.
