Richard Dawkins

I'm reading Unweaving the Rainbow (in fact I considered reading The God Delusion, but it would probably not do terribly much to me, in that 80% of the time he is preaching to the converted and the other 20% I wonder if he's being rather extremist).

In any case: this book is definitely of interest, even for someone who generally accepts Dawkins' ideas as self-evident, mostly because he quotes poets and scientists and all sorts of people all the time, and doesn't brush over things but gives detailed arguments and examples (not mere opinion) - he does, for instance, give a beautiful 4-page description of how a rainbow does in fact work...

2am update: dawkins too interesting, bad for my sleeping
