I agree with almost all of this, and add:

[No story spoilers, funny screenshot]I haven't managed to tip the Nomad over, but I've gotten myself into some pretty "interesting" positions with it. XD

Yeah, I'm not great at driving the Nomad. Much better now than I was during the trial though. I once got out and tried to jump jet my way to an outpost only to turn out after getting stuck and the vantage allowed me to see the obvious incline where the Nomad was supposed to drive up. *facepalm*

The Nomad is the new Mako. I did find, though, that turning it into the slower "all-terrain" helped me at least keep from careening as much. It's definitely easier to steer in that mode.

I haven't quite yet managed to get it stuck somewhere I've not been able to stubborn myself out of, but I've gotten close.

I agree with all of this. I'm not very far into the game at all yet, and I've noticed some slightly-weak animation. And I see the facial expressions are still fairly flat.

That said, though, I've been positively-surprised by ME:A. I didn't think I'd like it, but it's clear that I do and I will like it.
