I honestly still can't believe they shipped the game with that Liara bug in there.

...No, actually, I can, given BioWare's torrid love affair with Liara. I guess a better thing to say would be, I can't believe after all these years and all the time they've spent with their fanbase, they haven't gotten it through their thick skulls that not everyone is as wildly head-over-heels in love with Liara as they are.

Though really, I'm almost as pissed that Joker is forced down our throats as well as Liara. I have Shepards who blame him for their deaths and have no fondness for him whatsoever, and certainly would not be thinking of him moments before their (second) deaths.

I doubt it's a bug. There are no movie files for any other characters besides liara and the VS for that part, so it must be working as intended :/

Yep. The whole flashback sequence reeks of either a lack of time to implement other LIs or just plain negligence for the fans on Bioware's part.

To be fair, the whole ending reeks of "we ran out of time."

I'd say the entire 3rd act of the game (Thessia and everything after it). The pacing felt off, like they were cramming in as much as possible before the finale. ME3 is one of those games that the more I think about it, the more I feel dissatisfied with the game as a whole. I'm actually feeling less charitable and forgiving the more time has passed since I've finished it.

Well, that's just it, though - they didn't run out of time: this was the ending they wanted.

So say the Bioware Brass. I get the feeling that it's not the ending wanted by most of the other writers.

I don't disagree with that; I fully believe the ending was hijacked. But that also doesn't negate my point: it was not a product of a lack of time.

I think it was down to lack of time but they didn't want to admit it so claimed it was the ending they wanted

I hate it how the game just *assumes* we like certain characters. It would have been nice it they'd based it on who you took most often on missions in ME3 + whoever Shep's love interest was. As much as some people dislike the whole love/hate affection meter in DA:O and friend/rival thing in DA2 I at least felt I had some measure of control over the Warden/Hawke's relationships ( ... )

I love your icon. It's pretty much how I felt when I did Horizon for the second time around. I paused and was like, "What part of dead for two years are you not getting, Kaidan?". XD
