Would anyone be interested in a separate "ideas for sale" thread on Boot Camp Thursdays? Where those of us who don't have time to write/doodle/art all the ideas that spring up can give them to the community to write/draw/etc.?

Found a paper while doing a bit of AI research for a rabid plot bunny on an original piece:
Daily Life Among the Jupiter Brains - Anders Sandberg

I have not finished reading the paper, yet, but so far it's interesting and I think relevant to the ME'verse. It also may jump start a few plot bunnies, which is always a bonus.

For those of you not familiar with the name Anders Sandberg: he is one of the founders/original contributors of the Orion's Arm Universe Project.

I don't see Garrus being Primarch myself, but I could easily see him being given a high rank and position in the military, especially so early that Victus would still be alive (assuming he didn't die in the Earth assault, that is.) Victus fought with him on Menae, knows he Gets Shit Done, and is unorthodox himself. I imagine Garrus ending up the Hierarchy's youngest general more than anything.
