Open Late
For the last two weeks I have had a tendency to stay up late. I guess this is the reverse of my whole living habits of November-February.
I made bread tonight (normally a bi-weekly event) and this time I used Martha's recipe since my standard was producing more dense loves every time I fired up the oven. I don't know why I ever doubt the goddess of housekeeping but tonight I birthed the best two loafs that have been worked with my hands. I am so excited (and I have food to eat the rest of the week).
Sunday I started my farm internship. Go look at the site: http://www.arugulasstarfarm.com. I can go out there any time. Any one for a picnic or a frolic in the woods, walk the dog?
Also last week was disaster week at the store...it can't get worse right? Thank God we move out of there in August.
Saturday Katherine and I both had off and it was great to walk around in the beautiful weather even though we were still doing some sort of work (hanging posters, what a hard job).
That's my update for now. I work Tuesday-Friday and have Saturday off again!
Oh and we turned a closet into a pantry this weekend too (well I really finished the project tonight).
Here's to warm weather and being productive again...next up on the list...write my thank you letter.
