This weekend, I went to South Padre Island for my aunt Carol's retirement surprise party. She just retired from 19 years of teaching, so some of her former students decided to throw her a party. Yeah, that's what I was doing for a while, minus the blanket... and minus the boyfriend, of course. For a while, I actually considered letting myself fall asleep out there.
