It's been a while.

I was in Orlando, Florida from the day before Hallowe'en to this past Saturday. Good times, good food and beverages, fun rides. The hotel was a bit wrong in several little ways, but nothing so terrible to make us quit the place mid-stay.

I think I was the first person on my floor this morning. Weird, as usually my boss is around when I get in. There are more people here now, but it's still relatively quiet and mostly empty. The end of the day cannot come soon enough (and the three-day weekend that comes with it); but, in the meantime, this is making me happy:

Spent the weekend in hiding mostly. I think the previous Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 19:00 bumping of shoulders with other human beings just wore me too thin to be companionable to anyone else by the time Saturday came.
