--and then there's this shame

In harmony with my last entry, there's fandom ...

I've been sucked into Heroes fanfiction. I found a fairly decent non-slashy story (not that I'm opposed to slash [bitch, please], as fanfiction usually plays to my baser nature, and my baser nature likes reading about boys doing scandalous things to each other; and it's unusual for me to be drawn in by something that isn't just that: base) detailing what transpired between Sylar and Peter in "The Wall". In the show, we get a general idea, but they're trapped in this solitary landscape for years (virtually), and the show only gives an episode's snippets of interaction. This author fills in the gaps admirably in the aptly named Purgatory.

And ... it's only a matter of time until I get sucked into Star Trek fanfiction, but I'm holding off for now.

fanfiction, fandom
