After much headache and finding out the hard way that chock-full-of-gringos UNA doesn`t allow more than 3 exchange students in each class, I finally have my schedule:
EGC 108 Educación, sociedad y ambiente
EGF 102 Medio siglo del cuento costarricense
EGF 100 Etica y filosofía
HIG 412 Historia de Costa Rica II
LLG 414 Literatura española moderna
Three are Estudios Generales, freshman courses that shouldn´t be superdifíciles, but the literature and history ones are going to be a lot of work and reading but hopefully interesting and somewhat fun.
In Costa Rica classes are blocked and once a week, with ten minute breaks for every 50 minutes. I`ll have classes Monday and Tuesday mid-afternoon, Wednesday starting at 4 and going til almost 8, and Thursday and Friday mornings, so that should leave nice big chunks of time for daytrips to Desampa and long relaxing weekends. And drinking and exploring and working out at the gym across the street and chilling with gringos and ticos and hey, maybe even studying a little every now and again.
Now back outside in the sunshine with my camera I go!
