Obligatory random update number 1
A Guatemalan girl stole our dog last night. I´m not even joking.
Heredia is big and loud and I´m so not used to this. Also it´s been raining nonstop. It´s actually pretty cold here. Sixtyish degrees when it starts to pour around noon every single day.
And did I mention the two car accidents in front of my house yesterday, and the car horns, and the fact that it´s louder in my room than on the street due to the additional noise provided by my host sister´s family yelling through the kitchen window from their apartment right.next.door? Yeah, a lot of noise.
Thank goodness for burly German boys and frizzy-haired hippies from Georgia. And McDonald´s, sadly enough. Also, yay for safety in numbers, pejibayes and sensible walking shoes.
Really, I´m loving it. Just a bit of a change for now, that´s all.
