Slowly, he stretches out, resting his head on the desk. The feed goes on like that, for several seconds, before Xatu slowly comes into view, shuffling across the room to him with something in her beak. Slowly, she leans over and sets it down next to his hand, making Will glance up at the sound.
It's an apple. Bright and shiny and ruby-red. He sits up a little and looks to his pokemon, who makes a soft coo in the back of her throat, nodding toward the food. Will stares for a moment, before smiling wryly, reaching out to pat the giant bird on the head, before thinking better of it and dragging her in for a hug. She looks long-suffering, but lets him do as he needs.
