[Will sighs as he clicks on the video, but forces a little smile.]
Hello, all! I'm glad everyone seems to have enjoyed Christmas. I- I'm pleased that you all got gifts, especially to my fellow trainers here at the pokehouse.
...however, I- uh.
[He swallows hard.]
-I still can't participate in two-on-two battles. Which is fine! I just- um.
[He bites his lip, about to say something more, before a massive THUD resonates throughout the house. Will looks up, alarmed, picking up his PCD and taking it with him as he slowly moves out of his room and into the hallway. One small step down the stairs, and he swallows hard, before moving further down.]
Sir Lance, I think your pokemon are fighting aga-
[He starts, but he's cut off by another thud, coming from downstairs once more. Xatu appears next to him as Will takes the last few stairs tentatively, peering around the corner-
-and lets out positively the loudest screech that mankind has ever heard, dropping the PCD without a second glance and vaulting himself toward a creature that looks like a pink hermit crab fused with a hippo... fused with a dinosaur or something.]
SLOWBRO!!!!!!
[The creature yawns in response as Will wraps his arms around her neck. She slams her massive, horned tail down against the floor again- resulting in another loud thud, and making one of the ornaments fall from the nearby tree and shatter on the floor.]
Oh my Arceus! Slowbro! AHHHHHHH-
[Xatu croons happily. Slowbro just... yawns, slowly wrapping her arms up around Will's slight frame and crushing him close for a hug.
d-d'awwww Slowbro.]
