RL Got Me Again
This semester isn't so bad, content-wise, but just the sheer amount of readings and papers I have to write is terrible @__@
I did manage to remember claims for samdean_otp minibang though, and was ON TIME for once! \o/
Thank god for HabitRPG keeping me on track! It is seriously amazing, because it has just enough game elements to make me not want to die and lose all my progress, but not too much that it gets to be like an ACTUAL game, and I fiddle with it instead of being productive LOL.
I also managed to start Shingeki no Kyojin AKA Attack on Titan, which, HOMALKWJHEALKW HEAW WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO HOP ON THIS BANDWAGON?!?! Absolutely amazing series. The few qualms I have with it, mostly about the world-building and mythology, my sister (who's caught up with the manga) assures me will be answered down the road, so I have high hopes!
In related news, here's my list of shows for the upcoming TV season, not counting random finished shows that I pick up on Netflix :P
- Arrow. Still think Oliver's a jerk, but it seems like that will be toned down next season, so hopefully the show keeps my attention
- Crossing Lines. Although it doesn't seem like Netflix or any Canadian channel will be getting this show anytime soon, so I might save it to marathon during hiatus.
- Doctor Who. I like Capaldi as the Doctor (although I do wish he would talk a little slower/enunciate more), but still not fond of Clara.
- The Flash. I don't think I have to reiterate just how excited I am for this show do I?!?
- Gravity Falls. So far, S2 is shaping up to be just as awesome as S1!
- Key & Peele. Also gold.
- Last Week Tonight With John Oliver. This show is GOLD.
- NCIS. To watch with the fam.
- Remedy. Whenever it starts airing.
- Selfie. Purely for shallow Karen Gillan reasons, but I might drop it depending on how cringe-inducing it gets.
- Supernatural. Depending on reactions for the first few episodes, I might decide to just marathon it at the end of the season.
- The Legend of Korra
I also still need to finish Rectify, The Returned, and am thinking of starting Peaky Blinders and Poldark.
Not a whole lot, especially when you take into account that 3 of those shows are half-hour ones. But then, I've started getting back into manga, comics, and gaming, so that's gonna take up a chunk of my time! Also, I find that I'm re-watching like 1 episode of Prison Break a week now, mostly for Michael/Lincoln hugging and Michael/Mahone eyesexing reasons >.>
