I just found this out because the friend I'm going to Wimbledon with next year - just for one day but it's still Wimbledon!! - posted on her Facebook page!! And now I've come to check LJ and it's all over the place!!
Exciting, isn't it? And yes, someone at the casting agency sure is a PB fan!! I love that article that you linked to because that pic is so right in the PB verse - Lincoln was certainly fiery and Michael was cold and calculating (when necessary!) so that fits perfectly!!
So a Dom & Went reunion fic dealing with Went's coming out maybe?!! I'm trying to concentrate on my i_reversebang fic for now but maybe...

And yessss it's ALL OVER THE PLACE! I've read a bunch of news articles, because I have to compile stuff for the newsletter anyways, and people everywhere are re-living their PB nostalgia! I've seen half-joking suggestions/wishes for other PB cast members to play other members of the Rogues too XD
In case you need some more incentive to write that Went/Dom fic... it was apparently Wentworth's idea to have Dominic play Heat Wave! The exec producer said: It was actually Wentworth’s idea … there are references to Heat Wave in that first episode, and Wentworth said, “You know, if you’re looking for a Heat Wave, I’d love to work with Dominic again.” XDDDDD
I have been having random fits of fangirly squee all week, whenever I thought about it, and then I see the news about Wentworth suggesting Dom! It's the gift that keeps on giving! \o/
I love tennis!! It's Court No. 1 and it'll be either the juniors or the seniors - if we get to see Henri Le Conte I'll be thrilled!! :)
It's really great that so many people seem to be reliving their PB nostalgia and it would be awesome if we could have Bill Fichtner and Amaury Nolasco too! And surely there are female rogues - I'm thinking Jodi-Lyn O'Keefe!! :)

Oooh, I've seen people calling for Sarah or Robin to play a Rogue (IIRC, there are two female Rogues?), but hadn't seen Jodi's name mentioned before. But YES, she was such an awesome villain on PB, and I'd love to see her as a villain again. She has a series now though (although it's on hiatus atm), and is going to be guest-starring on The Vampire Diaries.

I have a deadline for the Inception fic...but the RPF might just provide a little light relief. Maybe a little drabble to start with?

But they were close enough that it still felt comfortable and Wentworth was ridiculously pleased to see Dominic again.
Okay, he could now admit to himself that he'd had a bit of a crush on the man back in the day; back then he couldn't admit it to himself because...well, because he couldn't admit his homosexuality and he couldn't have born it if Dom had turned against him because of it.
Now Dom knew and it really was no big deal so Went could just enjoy the reunion for what it was. Two friends catching up and, best of all, working together again.
AFAIK, Jodi's character is a doctor. IHNI if she's good/evil or not?
And *SQUEEEEE* YOU DRABBLED!!!! I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall for that reunion! I'm really hoping that we'll get some interview with them about how it is to work together again. Or hey, maybe Wentworth will post pics on his FB! I'm still kind of bummed he hasn't posted anything about the casting news, not even a link to the article :S
I can certainly picture her in a white coat...not sure I can picture her in a white hat, if you know what I mean! :)
