The Flash Casting News!
Spoiler warning, although if you follow me on twitter, then you've probably already seen my fangirl freakout :P
THIS IS A THING THAT IS HAPPENING. Somebody at the casting agency must be a fan of PB or something, because honestly? Knepper, and now Stormare, Miller, and Purcell?! Who's next? Please let it be Fichtner or Marshall Allman.
I've also skimmed through some articles while compiling for PBNewsletter and found this article with an amusing picture. It's nice to see PB still gets so much recognition, and seeing people getting nostalgic in comments! I also found this really nice picture from the comics:
I read up a bit on Dom's character and the Rogues, and they seem like an interesting bunch of... well, rogues :P
Being headed by Captain Cold, who has a strong sense of morals (although they might be more grey than most), they seem to mostly do robberies, and not do any really bad murder/taking over the world type stuff. One of them is even The Flash's friend! If the show keeps them as not-so-bad as they seem to be in the comics (which I think is likely given the more light-hearted nature of the show), this could be so awesome, even though, LBH, casting Dom is probably more stunt casting than anything.
Also, I read on Wikipedia that one of the Rogues arcs involves a real supervillain breaking them out of prison to distract the Flash while he tries to take over the world. THIS HAS TO HAPPEN NOW. I mean, COME ON!
I've never been this excited for a show before it's come out, ever. I'm seriously considering starting to read some comics, except I wouldn't even know where to begin! Comics canon has always confused me, because I didn't even catch on that there were multiple people behind some super's identities until a few years back >.<
Side note: now I just want ALL the Dom/Went reunion fic *_____*
