I signed up for kink_bingo again! Still waiting on my card though. It looks like there's a pretty huge backlog lol
Gonna go see Splice on Friday with jenzay! I'm excited, even though the poster with the Spliced...thing really freaks me out.
I have this thing about books where, if it's new, I try my hardest to not bend the spine or fold the pages. If I buy it new I have to keep it in ~pristine~ condition. But I actually like books better when they're worn-in (but not dirty D:). They look like they've been well-used and loved <3
It is ridiculously hard to find a copy of Good Omens at the library though. I've checked three and all of them are on hold for like, a dozen people. I did manage to find a copy of The Hitchhiker's Trilogy though! Finished The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and halfway through The Restaurant at the End of the World. It is such a wonderful book and it reminds me how much I missed reading actual books. On paper. Ebooks just aren't the same. And even if I had a Kindle or something similar, I don't think anything can match the feeling of a curling up under a blanket with a good book and a hot mug of tea on a cold day.
Which it still is here, for some weird reason. It's the rainiest and coldest summer I can remember.
Glyde has used copies of FF13 for $38.47. INCLUDING SHIPPING. Ok, so that's probably shipping to the US, but still, compared to EBGames $49.99 I say is still worth it. I might just suck it up and order it from there. And IDK, maybe I could find some rare games while I'm at it.
PS I have successfully cut back on my intake of hot chocolate!
PPS Lucky the lucky bamboo is still alive, but some leaves have started to yellow. I hope it's not past the point of no return *crosses fingers*
