Our way to the Cleveland airport. It's just about 3:30 am and I've been up for 2 hrs already. It's raining, the drive up has taken longer than expected so I suppose it was in fact a good idea we left when we did. I didn't sleep at all tonight. No matter what I tried, maybe I won't need the ambien when we leave new york this afternoon. I'm already running on adrenaline. I didn't eat much of anything last night, and occupied myself on the wifi in my mom's basement on my iPhone. Tiffin still hasnt any Att towers in any immediate reach of signal. Whenever I travel I always feel I've overlooked something important or i'll have forgotten something, today is no exception.
So I sit in the back of this car on i90 I'm the rain embarking on 10 days of what I assume will feel like being onanither planet. I'll see things I've been envisioning since as far back as I can recall and place myself Within the context of the present state of 4000 years of history. I'm a nervous wreck, no really I am but it's ok. It's oddly quiet in this car, the silence isn't doing much to calm my nerves. I'm glad I skipped the coffee this morning.
We take off for Jfk at around 6, well be there most of the day. Finally leaving for Cairo before five
