There's all kinds of cool things going on in my area, plays, concerts that I won tickets to but had to give away, one of my favorite authors visiting a town close by, but I am unable to go to them because I feel crappy. I wish I could complain how complicated my life is right now, but truth be told, it's not very complicated at all. I'm still having health problems, but we're working on handling them; meanwhile, I'm bored almost out of my mind. It's all rather unfortunate. Not to mention the school I'm missing, making me miss my school friends and become even more cranky.
I'm so bored, in fact, that I talked my dad into getting a membership at a different video store for the sole reason that they have TONS of TV show box sets for rent. I have so far rented the first two seasons of House M.D. and the first two seasons of Veronica Mars. I've been re-watching Veronica Mars for the last few days, then re-watching some episodes when my dad gets home. I hadn't seen any of the first season, so it was nice to fill in the missing gaps. I am on the third disk of V. Mars Season 2, and so far I've seen all of the episdoes. This leads me to believe that maybe I didn't miss part of the second season like I had originally thought.
It's still nice to recap, though the impending departure of Duncan's character in the series is concerning me because, let's face it, Logan hasn't got much on Duncan. It's too bad he had to impregnate a comatose Meg and then run away with the baby. I *am* a lot more supportive of Weevil's character though, after I saw how nice he's been to Veronica even though she's helping Logan out.
Aaand I finally got a replacement CD of Joni Mitchell's Miles of Aisles. My mom had taken the CD to CA with her when she moved, and I was Miles of Aisles-less. It was my favorite Joni Mitchell CD, so I'm really happy to have it back. If anyone wants to check it out, "Big Yellow Taxi", "Love or Money", "Case of You", and "Woman of Heart and Mind" are particularly good on this live CD. This CD is still just as amazing as when I first got it, and I am anticipating a Joni Mitchell music jag in my future.
