BEDA #7!
Missed BEDA yesterday *flail* with no excuse other than I forgot.
The bone crushing exhaustion seems to be abating somewhat, thankfully! I didn't nap yesterday at all, though I did end up in bed by 10 pm. :)
Yesterday was Art and Kristin's baby/housewarming party, and it was pretty fun. Winnie and Henry drove to our house, and Becky came over and we drove up to Cleveland heights in 2 cars (I went with Becky). Kristen's mom and sister threw the shower and had it catered (they're from CT and while they aren't old money rich, they still have money...it's easy to forget considering the way Art and Kristin live). The food was okay, honestly. I think it was a bit fancy for most of the crowd. :)
After the shower, Becky wanted to go to Trader Joe's--twist my arm! :). We spent about 45 min in there, I was mostly sightseeing lol. They have so much cool stuff that if I started I'd end up spending $300 so I just don't buy anything. :D
Worked my first Sunday shift and wasn't really impressed with my coworkers. One guy was more interested in hitting on all the young black girls than working, one went out and came in hung over, complained the whole time, kept playin with her phone (a HUGE no no--we're not supposed to have our phones on the floor and if they're even in the building they're supposed to be off), and kept sneaking carmel corn (another no no, we're only allowed drinks), leaving a huge mess under my chair. Ugh. The girl on the other side of me complained about how the busses stop early on Sundays and omg she needed to get home to watch Wrestlemania and totally had to leave early! ...Wrestlemania starts at 7 tonight, the shift ends at 5, and I think the last bus is at like...6.
I'm at the writing meeting super early writing this because an hour is not enough time to drive home and then come right back. Apparently where I parked is right in front of where all the employees smoke. I'm sure there's a better place for that, guys. Ugh.
I still have 20 minutes to kill. Phlerb.
Paul's making dinner tonight in his tangine so I'm not supposed to each much, but I don't really like anything he cooks (other than steaks), so I think I'm just going to eat normally just in case I hate the meal. It's supposed to be some sort of chicken, and the last thing he made in the tangine was TERRIBLE. So I'm kind of worried.
