Well, hello there.

I just got back from my - well actually I came back yesterday - from my trip to the Ardennes. We've been there since Thursday evening. And obviously we had fun fun fun. We barbeque'd a lot, had a huge watergun fight. Barbeque'd some more. And nearly drowned. Yes, indeed, we did. Near death experience much, man. Well, we went on a kano trip thingy and got stuck in a strong tide, our kano went down, we in the water, holding on to branches. A true Steven Segal movie, I tell you. Lmfao. Aaaaaaah, inside joke. Ahem.
Ah well, but we're alive. Alive with cuts and bruises, but we're alive.

Life is unpredictable. I came back from my trip to find out François Sterchelé died in a carcrash.
Sterchele was a Belgian footballer who play for FC Bruges.

Bruges. As in my hometown. A player from my hometown's footballclub died. And it feels so wrong. I can hardly believe he's actually gone. It wasn't supposed to be this way. He was supposed to live a long life and guide Bruges to lots of league wins. Fucked up, man.
I'll miss him. Even though I support their rivals team, I'm going to miss him. Because he was a human being. It just shouldn't have been this way.
Rest In Peace, Sterchelé.

Sad sad situation.
