Please include a small sample of the worst of this story:
"Harry Potter" Harry said. Alex caught his eye and smiled brightly.
"I have heard so many good things about both of you from Hermione"
Ron and Harry both blushed.
"So, um, Alex, are you feeling alright? I mean after being captive all those months" Harry trailed off
"Yes, I'm doing better. After tomorrow I should be just as good as new" She smiled
"I bet it must have been horrible" Ron said.
"Oh well - yes. The worst part of it was the teenager who lived in the house. Always trying to snog me. Stupid git."
"Where exactly were you held captive?" Harry asked, suddenly interested in the "stupid git" Alex had mentioned.
"Some enormous manner. I never got to see the outside. The owner of the house never actually came down to see me. Something about being away, I never found the reason. But his son was named Draco something"
"Malfoy?" All of them said together astonished.
"Yes, that's it" Alex agreed.
"Oh how awful" Ginny squealed.
"Do you know him?" Alex asked.
"Yes, unfortunately" Ron said.
"He goes to Hogwarts as well. He's in Slytherin" Harry explained.
"Oh great" Alex sighed.
"Well, he can't do anything while we're at Hogwarts. Dumbledore, remember?" Hermione insisted.
"Yes, you're right Hermione. As always" Alex agreed.
"Well, not always. After I found out you had been captured, I feared the worst. I thought I would never be able to see you again" Hermione's eyes filled with tears as did Alex's. Alex squeezed Hermione's hand and smiled.
"Don't worry Hermione. I'll be just fine."
"Look, Alex you need to rest. We'll leave you to get some sleep." Ginny said and ushered everyone out of the room.
Before leaving the room, Harry took one last look at Alex. She was settling herself down for her nap but then looked at Harry and smiled. Ron grabbed Harry's arm and dragged him out of the room.
"You like her, don't you" Ron said as he pulled Harry from the room.
"No" Harry lied quickly. "Why do you say,”
Ron crossed his arms "One because you were staring hopelessly at her. Two, the moment you saw her, your face turned bright red"
"Oh" Harry said quietly.
"It's not that I'm saying its bad or anything. I was just making sure"
"Yeah, I guess I do " Harry admitted
Ron smiled. "Well, I have to admit, she's a lot better than that Chang girl"
Harry smiled weakly. Maybe Ron is right. She was a lot prettier than Cho and she actually seemed normal Harry admitted to himself.
