Alright... I wanted to tell you about last night. Sarah and I arrived in Cologne around half past nine and went into the direction of Neumarkt via Breite Strasse, where we stumbled upon a pub with loud and good music - oldies and Föös. The pub was so full, people were standing on the street singing and dancing. So I got two Kölsch (the famous ( Read more... )

yeah, my parents trusted me as well with this kind of stuff. and we all know what the effect of prohibiting all kinds of things are: you just want them more! with the alcohol it was the same for me as it was for you. i found out how much i can take and that was that. i never understood the people that never knew when to stop *sigh*

other than that i am not a party or bar people at all anyway. i prefer private parties :) i am just no crowd's person ...

I am not a partier either, I don't care for loud music and all the stuff I have seen about clubs (tv shows, news programs etc). I like more of the nice parties at home etc.

On drinking I have never ever gotten to the point where I get drunk and I never ever want to get there. I did have sips of wine (my mothers with her supervision) and even with that I didn't think wine was all that was cracked up to be. (basically I didnt see the hype about it). Beer to me is nasty (had sips of dad's) And I rarely ever drink wine or any other drinks. (once in a blue moon)

With wine, one glass is more then enough. (i get a little tired if i do two glasses). Marguritas aren't too bad, but I perfer the non alcholic stuff.

I don't see the hype about the stuff (alcohol), though I do think it taste ok. It is something I could live without.

I babble to much :)

No, you don't. And I think you're perfectly right - that's what I think, too - though I do like some alcohol (can't stand the sweet stuff). I just think you have to be allowed to drink it (at an early age of course under some supervision, but since my parents allowed me to drink, I never had to lie to them, so they pretty much knew everything there and would have put a stop to it, had I crossed lines), otherwise you can't learn how to deal with it, or even if you like it or not. But I think this is what you did, too :)

Ooh! I love to get drunk on cocktails! But not every day, but when I'm in the mood it's big fun. Reminds me that Cuddly, Greenie and me wanted to do this again soon.
I love cocktails and sometimes "Weißbier" and whine. But not and NEVAH ;) again all together. And don't get me near to the hard stuff!

my friends and I always drank Wodka and Gin. (mixed with orange juice). now i more or less only drink Rum. and i enjoy the occasional Cocktail, but as that is too expensive in a bar i never buy any. last time i drank Cocktails was at Susi's wedding and as it was VERY HOT and my two cocktails had much more alcohol in it than anything else, i was quite drunk after only those two mixed with that terrible heat.
first time i drank was that horrible blueberry and lemon stuff. i can't think of the name now. first time i got drunk was on that. and i still remember when that was. it was an Oscar night, the Oscars where Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for "What's Eating Gilber Grape?" and it was my friends birthday. that is so long ago. the wild years - LoL!

beer i hate. it tastes horrible. i only drank it after i had something else before it and couldn't really taste it anymore.
