luckymonkee19 I made your lil packy ready today! I hope I can send it out tomorrow :)
*YAY* Carl and Pete and all the boys on their way to the States. I still think I am a genius for posting that pic of nekkid Carl. Hah.

*sigh* I want to be able to go their each week :( But I will be happy if I can go once with you in maybe two or three months. I hope they still have it then. Will you look at me actually wanting to go to a club without having to be harrassed about it? Thank Adam for Indie music :D

You totally are :) I went a bit wild - made her both Libs albums, plus DPT, plus Babyshambles. Well. Can't help but spread the love.

*ROTFL* True. I think you always hated clibs, right? Well, I always like clubs like the MTC and Blue Shell and those (uh... not that any of you guys would know them, so that was a bit redundant), but the indie night = BEST THING EVER!!

And yeah, thank Adam. Literally ;)

That's not going wild, that is caring for your friends :)

Exactly :) And the clubs here are really a pain in the arse anyway. Awful. And as I said to Sonja somewhere else I guess it all would be a bit different with the right people around me. I mean, if I would actually live in Cologne I am pretty sure you would make sure I'll get out ;) Because you wouldn't give up so quickly. Because most of the time if I actually do something, I am fine. Just don't have anyone here to do anything with ... :/

While he gets blamed for a lot of stuff, he gets also thanked for the same stuff. *lol*

Gooooood point. Can't have someone be depraved like that, right?

Look at me. Clibs. You can really tell my fave band, right?

Hey, if I lived in Cologne I'd make you come over for indie night once a month. At least.

We blame him because we care *nods*

just because a some preacher dude no one really knows anything about FOR A FACT kicked it

Sheesh! Show some respect, missy! ;-) Now, I'm not a particularly religious, at least not Christian, person, but I do believe that this Mr Jesus was actually a very cool dude. Not his fault some of his followers went a bit batty. But anyway, I can't see why even your clubs are closed on Good Friday. They certainly aren't here. Hm, odd. You're welcome to come to our indie night on Friday, of course. :-P

Well, my point is just that no one knows anything about Jesus except that he existed. Rest is just stories, by which he definitely was a cool dude though, if you believe them. It's just that so many others were, too. It's a bit uneven to me. Where's the holiday for, I dunno, Marx Malcolm X? I mean, it's about belief. That should be private and free, not something the law states. And I'm not only speaking as an atheist - why should the Jewish population (and we have a HUGE Jewish community in Cologne) be forced to a christian holiday? Makes no sense to me. And why am I ranting to you about this? *lol* Sorry.

*comes over to your club night*

Sorry about ranting back. lol I just find this quite an interesting point to discuss. As I've said, I'm not particularly for Christianity and all that, but my flatmate Dani is very religious and we've had some very interesting discussions lately ( ... )

No no, don't be sorry *hugs* It is interesting.

I guess it's just a fact that we live in a mostly Christian society, with a very strong Christian background. Obviosuly there are hundreds of other important people who'd deserve to have a holiday named after them, but none of them had such an impact on Western society as Jesus Christ.Yes, that is very true (I don't like it all that much, but it is true *lol*). I'm not saying anything against the day itself - or any other christian holiday. Obviously it'd be chaos to include holidays from other countries - people would never work again *g* And I really find the American concept a bit, uhm, strange - it's one thing to be against religious symbols - personally I don't like crucifixes in school rooms either - but when you're not even allowed to have a christmas tree in your office - well. Of course, I do believe that this is NOT what the average American thinks up. The only thing that annoys me is that Germany is one of the very few countries where you really can't do ANYTHING on Good ( ... )

One dramatic eyeroll at the club being closed... What's up with that? Clubs should always be open on holidays so people can escape their family dance all night long.
